Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

This webinar is intended for the novice to the experienced. Attendees will leave the webinar with an understanding of SAP. We will share an overview of the SAP regulations, discuss the common compliance concerns, review standards and policy. We will discuss the key elements required in an SAP Policy – evaluation of maximum timeframe and both the quantitative (pace of progression) and qualitative (grade-based) measures. We will also review other key items of the SAP Policy, recent guidance from ED and share helpful resources.
Our presenter is Sara Kaufman. Sara has 12 years of experience in higher education, primarily in financial aid. She has served as an instructor/trainer for the SASFAA New Aid Officer and FASFAA New Aid Officer and Intermediate Aid Officer Workshops. She has also presented at FASFAA Regional Workshops.
