2021-2022 FAFSA Documents and Presentation from FSA

  • 2 min read

The FAFSA opens October 1, a little more than a week away. Over the last month, the Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) has released documents and presentations for the 2021-2022 FAFSA to serve as reference tools for financial aid offices and counselors. Updates to the FAFSA can be reviewed in our earlier post, ED Shares Summary of Changes for 2020-2021 FAFSA or in our recent webinar. Recently available documents include FAFSA and Student Eligibility worksheets, EFC Formula Guide, and the FAFSA on the Web presentation. This information, as well as the documents planned to be released over the next few months, can be used for training as well as at high school financial aid night presentations and FAFSA workshops.

Additional document releases are planned throughout the fall and updated on the FSA’s Financial Aid Toolkit FAFSA website:

  • 2021-2022 FAFSA Demo Site: September 30, 2020
  • Student Aid Report (SAR) sample and SAR Acknowledgement: October 2020
  • myStudentAid Mobile Application Presentation: November 2020

We will continue to post as additional documents become available.
