COVID-19 Title IV and HEERF FAQs Available

The Department of Education (ED) published frequently asked questions for COVID-19 Title IV related questions, a link to the website is below. The updated question and answer are related to Return of Title IV Funds. In addition, ED also released a third list of frequently asked questions regarding the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF), a part of the CARES Act.

This newest HEERF FAQ document clarifies, among other things, that students are eligible for an emergency financial aid grant even if they have met their annual eligibility limit for other federal funds, as long as they demonstrate their initial eligibility for Title IV by completing a FAFSA.
