Effective July 1, 2021, the September 2, 2020 Final Rules make substantial changes to the return of Title IV funds (R2T4) requirements for programs offered in modules. Join Amanda Sharp, NASFAA’s Online Training & Instruction Manager, and David Futrell, NASFAA’s AskRegs Manager, for a detailed discussion of the new rules for:
- determining when a student is considered a withdrawal from a payment period or period of enrollment that includes modules
- applying new R2T4 exemptions
- counting the number of days the student is scheduled to attend during the period
- applying an R2T4 Freeze Date
- implementing the regulations earlier than July 1
We will also discuss new rules for students who graduate early from clock-hour programs. Several scenarios and examples will be presented.
