In Loving Memory: Sharon Miller

  • 2 min read

It is with great sadness that we inform the financial aid community about the passing of Sharon Miller, a Senior Consultant at College Aid Services.

On October 12th, Sharon Miller passed away surrounded by her loving family in Dade City, Florida. Sharon was born in Skokie, Illinois on August 15, 1966. She attended Our Lady of the Wayside grade school, Arlington Heights High School and graduated from Clarence High School in New York. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Michigan State University and later attended Saint Leo University, where she received her MBA while working full time.

Sharon spent the last 20 years in south Florida and loved the beautiful beaches, the pool, dancing, going to the movies, and spending time with her nephews and furry pets. She was very proud of her career, devoting over 25 years to financial aid, helping students earn their degrees. Throughout her career, her most rewarding moments were found while training colleagues and staff to help them exceed their own expectations. She joined College Aid Services in June 2020 to share her expertise with the financial aid community. Sharon shared her life with many friends from all over the United States.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Florida.

Details on arrangements can be found on Sharon’s Obituary.
