On July 1st, the Department of Education officially implemented a series of regulations as part of its commitment to providing greater oversight and transparency in Higher Education. Part of this oversight includes greater restrictions on when institutions can withhold a student’s academic transcript if their course credits were paid for using federal dollars and removed a provision regarding the return of Title IV funding.
