Federal Student Aid has updated Volume 9 of the 2025-26 FAFSA Specifications Guide to include the a test data file of a 2025-26 Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR). This file is for use in system testing by schools, state agencies, software providers, and other agencies and entities. The file is a tool to ensure that institutions are prepared to receive student data through the FAFSA Processing System (FPS) for 2025-26.
