The Department of Education has released the updated maximum interest rates for the Health Education Assistance Loan Program (HEAL) for the quarter ending March 31, 2025. The electronic announcement also includes contact information for HEAL program lenders with questions and the maximum interest rates for the previous three quarters.
How to Access the Maximum HEAL Program Interest Rates:
- Open the HEAL Information area on the Knowledge Center website
- Navigate to the “HEAL Interest Rates” page
- Click on the “Current Maximum Interest Rates” section
- The chart below provides the maximum interest rates for the quarter ending March 31, 2025, as well as the previous three quarters ending June 30, September 30, and December 31, 2024
