Upcoming FSA Partner Connect Implementation and SAIG Enrollment Actions – What you need to know

  • 2 min read

FSA has announced a significant update: starting in July 2025, the FSA Partner Connect portal will become the primary platform for Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) enrollment and user management. This transition aims to streamline processes for institutions and partners involved in administering Title IV federal student aid programs. As a result of this update, the SAIG Enrollment website will be retired.

Key Highlights of the Transition

  • SAIG Enrollment Migration: The current SAIG Enrollment website (fsawebenroll.ed.gov) will be retired after June 12, 2025. All enrollment actions will move to the FSA Partner Connect portal, providing a centralized location for managing access to FSA systems and services.
  • Electronic Signatures: The new system will introduce electronic signature capabilities, eliminating the need for mailing or emailing paper signature forms. This change is expected to expedite the enrollment process and reduce administrative burdens.
  • Enhanced Access for Foreign Schools: Foreign institutions, which previously relied on paper forms for SAIG enrollment, will now be able to complete enrollment and updates online through FSA Partner Connect.

Actions Required by June 12, 2025

  • Complete Pending Enrollments: Institutions should ensure all necessary SAIG enrollment actions are completed before June 12, 2025. After this date, the current enrollment website will no longer be accessible.
  • Submit Signature Pages Promptly: Any required signature pages for enrollment actions must be submitted to the FPS Help Desk by June 12, 2025. Delays beyond this date may impact the processing of enrollment changes.
  • Seek Assistance if Needed: For questions or support regarding the transition, institutions can contact the FPS Help Desk at 1-800-330-5947 or via email at support@fps.ed.gov until June 12, 2025.

This modernization effort is part of FSA’s ongoing commitment to improving the efficiency and user experience of its systems. By consolidating enrollment processes within FSA Partner Connect, the Department aims to provide a more intuitive and streamlined interface for its partners.
