Federal Student Aid has posted the EDExpress 2026-27 for Windows to its Knowledge Center. The 1.0 version is now available for download.
EDExpress helps financial aid offices process, package, and manage Title IV federal student aid. It integrates with the Department of Education’s systems so institutions can import, store, and transmit student aid data securely. It is common at small and mid-sized colleges that don’t have a fully integrated financial aid management system.
The release includes core modules: Global, Application Processing, Packaging, and College Financing Plan functionality tailored for the 2026–27 award year.
Alongside the software, FSA published several supporting documents:
- Installation Guide (with technical setup instructions)
- Cover Letter (overview of enhancements)
- Desk Reference (functional guidance)
- Packaging Technical Reference (data layouts and module integration instructions)
For your convenience all the announcements are linked below.
