Final 2026–27 FAFSA PDF Form, FAFSA Form for Incarcerated Students, and FAFSA Submission Summary

  • 2 min read

FSA has published the following pdf forms and guides for the 2026–27 FAFSA:

2026–27 FAFSA PDF Form

Final PDF versions of the 2026–27 FAFSA forms are now available on StudentAid.gov in English  and Spanish.

2026–27 FAFSA Form for Confined or Incarcerated Individuals

Confined or incarcerated individuals must complete the FAFSA form to determine their eligibility for a Federal Pell Grant. They may complete the form using the online application, or submit the FAFSA PDF designated for incarcerated students by mail to Federal Student Aid for processing. The 2026–27 PDF Incarcerated Student FAFSA form is available in English and Spanish.

The FAFSA form designated for confined or incarcerated individuals is identical to the online form and the “regular” FAFSA PDF except it includes a statement identifying it as the version for incarcerated students and provides a separate mailing address for submission. This separate mailing address ensures we account for the special circumstances of incarcerated students and the security requirements of correctional facilities that may impact paper, printing, mailing, and writing tools.

2026–27 FAFSA Submission Summary

After the FAFSA form is processed, the student will receive a FAFSA Submission Summary, which contains the responses provided on the FAFSA form and provides basic estimates of the student’s eligibility for federal student aid. Final mock-ups of the 2026–27 FAFSA Submission Summary are now available in English and Spanish PDFs.

The mock-ups are provided as a resource to the community to use in staff training or financial aid presentations.

Additional Resources

The 2026–27 FAFSA Prototype and 2026–27 FAFSA Preview Presentation became available in August 2025. Financial aid administrators, mentors, counselors, and others who support FAFSA completion efforts may use these as references for staff training, financial aid nights, and student advising sessions.
