FSA has released it’s Spring/Summer 2026 webinar series. Four sessions between May and July will focus on Pell and FWS. The sessions are as follows:

Awarding With Pell Grant Formula 1

Wednesday, May 6, 2026, 1–2:30 p.m. ET

FSA will discuss when Pell Grant Formula 1 is required, how enrollment intensity affects Pell Grant awards, and what schools need to know to ensure accurate Pell Grant calculations. This session includes real-world calculations for students enrolled in credit-hour programs that are offered in standard academic terms.

Awarding With Pell Grant Formula 3

Wednesday, May 27, 2026, 1–2:30 p.m. ET

FSAW will discuss the key principles for awarding Pell Grant Formula 3 for students in nonstandard term programs, including how academic calendars, academic years, payment periods, enrollment intensity, term structure, and instructional time affect Pell Grant awarding. This session includes real-world calculations to help ensure accuracy and confidence in awarding Pell Grant Formula 3.

Wednesday June 17, 2026, 1–2:30 p.m. ET

FSA will discuss the key principles for awarding Pell Grant Formula 4 for students in clock-hour and non-term credit-hour programs, including how academic year definitions, instructional time, payment periods, enrollment intensity, scheduled awards, and rounding affect Pell Grant awarding. This session includes real-world calculations to help ensure accuracy and confidence in awarding Pell Grant Formula 4.

Federal Work-Study Program

Wednesday July 8, 2026, 1–2:30 p.m. ET

The Federal Work-Study Program requires expertise and collaboration to make the program run smoothly on your campus. Learn the ins and outs of the program and how to meet its requirements, including discussions on student eligibility; proper packaging, funding, recordkeeping, and reporting; and more.

You don’t need to register for these webinars. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, and FSA can accommodate up to 5,000 attendees in each session.

You may download a PDF version of the presentation the day before the live webinar in the “Upcoming Webinars” section of the FSA Training Center.

If you can’t make the live session, don’t worry.  FSA will post a recording and transcript of each webinar on the FSA Training Center the week following the live webinar.
