Federal Student Aid has published the maximum Health Education Assistance Loan (HEAL) Program interest rates for the quarter ending December 31, 2026. The update applies to HEAL Program lenders and lender servicers.
The maximum variable interest rates are:
- 7.500% for loans made before January 27, 1981.
- 7.500% for loans executed from January 27, 1981, through October 21, 1985.
- 7.000% for loans executed on or after October 22, 1985.
