FSA announced that it began processing the third and final Pell Grant Administrative Cost Allowance (ACA) for 2022-23, which awards eligible institutions with $5.00 payments per recipient to cover costs associated with administering federal aid programs. These payments are determined by unduplicated Pell recipients and administrators must initiate a drawdown transaction to receive the funds; important details will sent to a school’s G6 system as well as posted to the COD website.
Ineligible Pell Grant Recipients
- Those who have been determined ineligible for a Pell Grant or rejected by the Central Processing System
- Those for whom origination records were accepted in the COD System but for whom accepted actual disbursements (Disbursement Release Indicator or DRI value equal to “true”) have not been received
- Those for whom all actual disbursements have been rejected
ACA Payment Reminders
- Processing for both award years began on August 20, 2024
- Schools must sign into the G6 website to initiate a drawdown and receive their funding
- Eligible institutions will receive an Electronic Statement of Account (ESOA) in their SAIG mailbox
- ACA payment information will be will be displayed on the COD website’s School Funding Information screen
ACA Payment Summary and Recipient Information
- “Total Unduplicated Recipients” Field – Count of unduplicated recipients for the award year for the school
- “Total Unduplicated Recipients Paid” Field – Count of unduplicated recipients for the award year for whom ACA has been paid
- “Total ACA” Field – Dollar amount paid to the school to date for the award year
- “Last ACA Payment Date” Field – Most current date for which an ACA payment was made for the award year
- “ACA Payment History” Link – “Number of Recipients,” “Date ACA Paid” and “Amount” for the first, second, and third/final ACA payments for the award year
