The U.S. Department of Education has published the 2027-2028 College Financing Plan on the Office of Postsecondary Education’s website.
The College Financing Plan (CFP) is a consumer tool that was developed as an option for institutions to use to notify students about their financial aid packages. It is intended primarily for prospective students to receive information about college costs and financial aid so that they can easily compare institutions and make informed decisions about where to attend school.
The CFP is updated annually. The forms, as well as the other components institutions need to complete the forms, can be found on the CFP webpage. These materials include the HTML specifications file, a technical guide, and a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
