Aaron Gray

Aaron began working an an Independent Senior Consultant at College Aid Services in 2023. Aaron is a seasoned professional with experience spanning over fifteen years in financial aid within both internal and external service environments. Aaron spent ten years in the banking industry prior to joining higher education at the University of San Francisco.

His higher education career began in a One Stop office, providing customer service for a combination of Student Accounts and Financial Aid. In 2017, he transitioned to the Office of Student Accounts. His career trajectory then saw him elevate from a managerial position at the University of San Francisco to the role of Associate Director, and subsequently, since April 2022 as the Director of Student Accounts at the University of La Verne.

Aaron has technical expertise. He is well-versed in using a variety of systems, including Banner, TransAct, Flywire, Tableau, Salesforce, Concur, Cognos, Kronos, and Workday (HCM), as well as multiple banking systems.

In 2001 he graduated from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY with a degree in Economics. He later earned an MFA in Writing from the University of San Francisco.

Aaron is well-versed in all aspects of Student Accounts and has cultivated a keen interest in internal control, audit, compliance, project management, and functional technology.
