Alexis Fishbone

Alexis joined College Aid Services in 2020, as a Senior Consultant to share her expertise of Ellucian Banner to help institutions optimize it’s use and manage the delivery of aid. She is an experienced, innovative, forward-thinking, and collaborative financial aid and enrollment management professional having worked in higher education since 2001.

Having worked with various prestigious institutions such as the University of Virginia, George Washington University, Boston University Medical Campus, and most recently Northern Essex Community College (NECC), where she served as the Dean of Enrollment and Chief Financial Aid Officer, Alexis brings a wealth of experience and innovation to her work.

One of Alexis’ key focuses throughout her career has been promoting equity in higher education. She consistently ensures that policies and procedures align with federal, state, and institutional regulations, while also striving to simplify the onboarding process for students. At NECC, she spearheaded the implementation of EAB’s student lifecycle system, Navigate. She also re-envisioned all processes within Student Financial Services and Admissions using a student-centered philosophy that saw increases in both initial enrollment and persistence to graduation.

Alexis’ deep knowledge and expertise in financial aid make her an invaluable asset to College Aid Services. She can support clients in various areas, including business process reviews, compliance assessments, enrollment management, interim staffing, and administrative experience to manage processes, projects, or staff.

Alexis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Education from Brandeis University (1997) and a Master of Education in Education Policy from the University of Virginia (2003).

Alexis also holds NASFAA credentials in Application Process and Student Eligibility.
