In 2021, Annette became a Senior Consultant at College Aid Services, bringing her extensive financial aid expertise to clients in the areas of assessments, compliance, and training.

Annette’s expertise includes leadership roles in enrollment management including managing financial aid, operations, audits, Title IV compliance, NCAA compliance, data analytics, reporting, and communication. Her wealth of experience and knowledge in these areas makes her a valuable resource for clients.

Annette’s journey in higher education began in 1996 when she served as the Football Operations and Recruiting Program Manager at the University of Nevada Reno. Since then, she has held various roles in prestigious institutions, including Director of Admissions Communications at Millsaps College, Director of Program Compliance and Funding at Head Start of Bozeman Montana, Director of NCAA FA Eligibility and Student Scholarships at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and Director of Financial Aid at Glendale Community College. Currently, Annette serves as the District Dean of Financial Aid Operations and Compliance for Maricopa Community Colleges in Arizona.

Annette is recognized for her critical thinking skills and her ability to navigate both functional and technical (“funky-tech”) aspects of financial aid administration. Her comprehensive understanding of financial aid regulations and her expertise in leveraging technology to ensure compliance and enhance the student experience set her apart. She is well-versed in various financial aid software systems, including Banner by Ellucian, CAMS, Campus Vue, PeopleSoft, PowerFAIDS, and Regent.

Annette holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida and a Master in Business Administration from Saint Leo University. She is currently perusing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Leadership from Grand Canyon University.

Annette is also a NASFAA Certified Financial Aid Administrator (FAAC®).
