Beatriz Ruiz joined College Aid Services in 2026 as a Senior Consultant, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in higher education administration.
Throughout her career, she has held leadership and operational roles across academic advising, registration, records, and financial aid, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of enrollment management and student services.
Beatriz combines extensive financial aid expertise with strong technical knowledge to help institutions improve operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with federal regulations. She has significant experience with Ellucian Colleague, including financial aid module implementation and configuration, as well as expertise in federal verification, Return of Title IV Funds (R2T4), awarding and disbursement of federal, state, institutional, and private aid, reconciliation, FISAP reporting, and Federal Work-Study administration.
Beatriz earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lewis University and a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Robert Morris University. She also has earned NASFAA Credentials in Cash Management, Return of Title IV Funds, and Satisfactory Academic Progress.
