Brandi Esuzor

Brandi joined College Aid Services in 2021 as a Senior Consultant to share her compliance and “funky-tech” (functional and technical) expertise to help others optimize the use of Ellucian Banner to manage the delivery of aid.

Brandi’s extensive experience in financial aid comes from working in both public universities and technical colleges in Georgia. Her journey in higher education began in 2009 as a Student Accounts Representative at Strayer University. She then held several Financial Aid Student Services associate positions at Kennesaw State University, where she gained valuable insights into the complexities of the field. Brandi further expanded her expertise as a Financial Aid Coordinator at Atlanta Technical College and later as the Associate Director of Compliance at the University of West Georgia. Prior to joining College Aid Services, she served as the Financial Aid Systems Administrator at Chattahoochee Technical College.

Her career path has enabled her to learn all aspects of financial aid, including, but not limited to, application processing, student eligibility, federal verification, and awarding which includes origination to disbursement. What sets Brandi apart is her “funky-tech” expertise, allowing her to leverage technology, particularly Ellucian Banner, to effectively manage aid delivery while ensuring compliance and enhancing the student customer experience. Her ability to navigate the intersection of functionality and technology makes her a valuable asset to our clients.

Over her professional career, she has been a member of professional associations at the national (NASFAA), regional (SASFAA), and state (GASFAA) level. She has also served as a member of the GASFAA Executive Board multiple times. She enjoys training and mentoring and has served as both a trainer and presenter at workshops and conferences.

Brandi holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution (2002) and a Master of Business Administration (2006) from Kennesaw University (formerly known as Southern Polytechnic State University).
