Bryan Wallander

Bryan joined College Aid Services in 2020 as a Senior Consultant to share his business office expertise. He provides remote consulting services for student account clients in various types of institutions.

Brian’s expertise includes assisting universities with their billing and payment operations. He is well versed in student account activities to include, but not be limited to, tuition and billing, 1098T, Accounts Receivable and Student Loan Collections, Third Parry Billing, etc.

He is a critical thinker with both functional and technical (aka – “funky-tech”) experience who knows how to utilize and leverage Ellucian Banner to manage student account operations while supporting compliance and the student customer experience.

In addition to Banner, Brian is well versed in various software, including: CASHNet, StarRez, AmeriCorps Online Payment Portal, National Student Clearinghouse, ELM Resources, AMS, and Flywire.

Bryan’s journey in higher education began in 2003 at University Accounting Service, where he provided support to over 25 universities in their student account billing and payment operations. In 2011, he transitioned to the University of San Francisco as a Student Accounts Coordinator and subsequently climbed the ranks to Assistant Director of Student Accounts and eventually Director of Student Accounts.

Bryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee (2001).
