Christa Watson

Christa Watson joined College Aid Services in 2024 as a Consultant. With over 30 years of expertise and a proficiency in Ellucian Colleague, Christa brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the clients she serves.

Prior to joining College Aid Services, Christa held various roles at Agnes Scott College beginning in 2008. Most recently, she served as the Senior Associate Director of Financial Aid, where she played a pivotal role in managing, directing, and coordinating the college’s financial aid programs and day-to-day operations. 

Before her tenure at Agnes Scott, Christa spent 11 years in financial aid consulting, holding multiple roles that honed her skills and knowledge in financial aid administration. Prior to her stint in consulting, she was the Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Oglethorpe University, an institution she joined in 1992.

Christa is well versed in Georgia State Aid Scholarships, Grants and State Loan Programs (including the HOPE Scholarship), Federal Grants programs, FAFSA Verification processes, Professional Judgment, and tactful student and parent correspondence and interpersonal conversations.

Christa possesses a natural aptitude for building quick rapport and engaging effectively with diverse individuals. She fosters a student-centric approach that prioritizes students’ needs and concerns, consistently upholding operational excellence and contributing to a positive college journey for students.

Christa holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with a concentration in Political Science.
