Chrystal Jefferson

In 2019, College Aid Services welcomed Chrystal as a Consultant, leveraging her extensive experience in managing financial aid operations in both the public and private sectors since 1995.

Throughout her career, Chrystal has been instrumental in sharing her expertise in financial aid. She has contributed to federal compliance reviews and audits, FSA fund reconciliation, and the maintenance of various financial aid management systems. With her comprehensive understanding of financial aid regulations and operations, Chrystal serves as a valuable resource for our assessment, compliance, and interim staffing services.

She has held various interim staffing roles, ranging from Financial Aid Counselor to Director of Financial Aid, demonstrating her versatility and depth of financial aid knowledge. Moreover, her familiarity with Ellucian’s Banner, Colleague, Jenzabar CX, PeopleSoft, and PowerFAIDS systems enables her to seamlessly transition into interim staffing positions with minimal training.

Before joining College Aid Services, Chrystal served as an Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Morehouse College in Georgia. Prior to her tenure at Morehouse, she held positions at Georgia Perimeter College and Emory University. In addition to her wealth of experience, Chrystal holds a NASFAA credential in Verification.
