Cristi Millard

Cristi joined College Aid Services in 2023 as a Senior Consultant.

With years of experience, Cristi is well-versed in many functions in financial aid. She has held various positions at Salt Lake Community College, starting as a Financial Aid Advisor in 1989 and progressing to the role of Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships. Her most recent role was Director of Special Projects & Compliance for the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships.

Cristi’s expertise in financial aid is recognized by her status as a NASFAA Certified Financial Aid Administrator (FAAC®). She has also served as a Standards of Excellence Reviewer for NASFAA for 12 years and has been a faculty member at the RMASFAA Summer Institute for 15 years. Additionally, Cristi holds an impressive sixteen NASFAA credentials: Administrative Capability; Application Process; Campus-Based Programs; Cash Management; Consumer Information; Cost of Attendance; Direct Loans; Federal Pell Grants and Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grants; Gainful Employment Test; Need Analysis; Packaging and Notification of Awards; Professional Judgment; Return of Title IV Funds; Satisfactory Academic Progress; Student Eligibility; and Verification.

Cristi’s dedication to the financial aid profession extends beyond her institutional roles. She has actively participated in state (UASFAA), regional (RMASFAA), and national (NASFAA) associations. Her contributions have been recognized through various accolades, including the NASFAA Regional Leadership Award and induction into the RMASFAA Hall of Fame.

With her extensive knowledge, certifications, and accolades, Cristi is a valuable addition to the College Aid Services team. Her expertise in financial aid administration, commitment to professional excellence, and active involvement in the financial aid community make her a trusted consultant for our clients.

Cristi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Brigham Young University (1998) and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix (2006).
