David Brod, Ph.d.
Project Manager
David joined College Aid Services in 2024 as a Project Manager. In this role, he collaborates closely with our team to ensure objectives are being achieved while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction.
Bringing over 15 years of experience in higher education, David has held prominent leadership roles, including Director of Financial Aid, Records, and Veteran Affairs at Virginia Western Community College. In this capacity, he oversaw student services, managed multi-million-dollar financial aid programs, and implemented strategic initiatives to improve student success and enrollment growth.
Beyond his expertise in enrollment management, David possesses advanced data analytics skills honed during his time as a Research Analyst at Virginia Tech. There, he delivered data-driven insights to support university advancement. His technical proficiency with various software tools further strengthens his ability to lead projects and analyze institutional performance effectively.
David is passionate about supporting students and contributing to his community. He has a rich background in mentoring, volunteering, and engaging with professional organizations such as NASFAA, NASPA, and ASHE. As an accomplished speaker, he has presented at multiple conferences and is an advocate for educational and alumni engagement initiatives.
David holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Virginia Tech and an M.A. in Educational Leadership from San Diego State University.
