Dustin Grannis
Compliance Manager
Dustin Grannis joined College Aid Services in 2024 as a Compliance Manager. He is a highly experienced higher education professional with over 20 years of expertise in financial aid, athletics, admissions, and student services. He excels in financial aid compliance, finding unique solutions to complex financial aid operations, and enhancing student support services.
Prior to joining College Aid Services, he served as the Associate Director in the Financial Aid Office at UNC Charlotte in North Carolina. In this position Dustin managed a dedicated team of financial aid professionals and oversaw a range of functions including athletic scholarships, award management, student and family outreach, satisfactory academic progress, and all professional judgments for the University. His time at Charlotte saw improvement in multiple policies and procedures as well as the development of relationships with partner offices across campus.
Over the course of his career, Dustin has worked with multiple higher education institutions ranging from four-year public and private institutions to proprietary schools. While his main interest has always been compliance, he also enjoys working hand in hand with students and their families regarding their eligibility, developing cross office relationships on campuses, and providing presentations and/or training to families and staff as requested.
Holding a master’s degree in political science from the University of Kentucky and a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College, Dustin combines his academic background with practical expertise to deliver exceptional financial aid services and support to students and their families. With a proven track record in financial aid management, policy development, and team leadership, Dustin is dedicated to advancing educational access and success for students through strategic financial support and effective administrative practices.
