Dustin Grannis
Compliance Manager
Dustin Grannis joined College Aid Services in 2024 as a Compliance Manager, bringing more than 20 years of experience in higher education with expertise spanning financial aid, athletics, admissions, and student services. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong reputation for financial aid compliance, operational leadership, and helping institutions navigate complex regulatory requirements while enhancing the student experience.
Prior to joining College Aid Services, Dustin served as Associate Director of Financial Aid at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he managed a team of financial aid professionals and oversaw athletic scholarships, award management, satisfactory academic progress, professional judgment, and student and family outreach. During his tenure, he led improvements to policies and procedures while strengthening collaboration with campus partners to improve service delivery.
Dustin has worked with a diverse range of institutions, including public, private, and proprietary colleges and universities. His expertise includes financial aid compliance, policy development, staff training, operational improvement, and student eligibility. At College Aid Services, he assists institutions with financial aid compliance, operational reviews, policy and procedure development, and comprehensive assessments designed to strengthen institutional effectiveness and support student success.
Dustin is a NASFAA Certified Financial Aid Administrator (FAAC®) and is committed to advancing educational access through compliance, collaboration, and continuous process improvement.
He earned a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts from Kenyon College.
