Gregory Geistkemper

In 2023, Gregory joined College Aid Services as a Senior Consultant. His journey within the financial aid industry began in 2009 as a graduate student working in the financial aid office of St. Ambrose University. This early experience sparked Greg’s commitment to supporting students in navigating the complexities of financial aid and achieving their educational goals.

Gregory’s decision to join College Aid Services is a natural extension of his personal mission. By assisting schools in developing, highlighting, and enhancing policies and procedures that remove obstacles to financial aid, Gregory actively contributes to the betterment of students’ lives. His unwavering dedication is encapsulated in his heartfelt statement, “If I can help a school develop, highlight, and enhance policies or procedures that remove obstacles to financial aid for students, then it’s been a good day!”

Following his tenure as a graduate student, Gregory quickly progressed in his career. He first advanced to the role of Financial Aid Specialist. Gregory’s exceptional skills and expertise led to his promotion to the position of Associate Director of Financial Aid.

Gregory’s uses his functional and technical (“funky-tech”) expertise to help our clients optimize the use of Ellucian Colleague to manage the delivery of aid.

Greg has actively participated in various roles and committees within the state (IASFAA) and regional (MASFAA) levels. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Greg received the Outstanding New Professional Award from IASFAA in 2012 and the Outstanding New Professional award from MASFAA in 2013.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in History Education from St. Ambrose University (2010) and a Master of Organizational Leadership from St. Ambrose University (2022).
