Jason Mellen
Senior Consultant
Jason joined College Aid Services as a Senior Consultant in 2023 to share his experience with higher education business systems and operations.
Jason has worked in higher education since 2009, starting in residence life and student housing operations. He has worked in admissions, financial aid, and information technology roles since 2015, including leading recruitment efforts as a Director of Enrollment Operations at two institutions. Jason uses his experience with systems such as Ellucian Banner and Technolutions Slate to support our clients with implementation, process redesign, technical support, training, and special projects.
Jason’s experiences ranges from high level process design and strategic planning to hands-on implementation and software development. His diverse background allows Jason to create synergy with campus leadership, functional users, and technical experts. Jason’s professional drive comes from empowering others through technology to better serve students.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication Technology (2007) and a Master of Education (2009), both from Bowling Green State University. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy in Technology & Innovation Management at National University.
