Jimmy joined College Aid Services in 2023 as a Senior Consultant, bringing with him a wealth of experience as a seasoned financial aid professional since 2007. Driven by a deep passion for making a positive impact, Jimmy has dedicated his career to assisting institutions and students in navigating the intricate landscape of financial aid.

Jimmy’s contribution to the College Aid Services team is marked by his extensive skill set, encompassing a wide range of systems and areas of expertise. With proficiency in systems like Colleague, Banner, PowerFAIDS, Campus View, CARS, AS400, TouchNet, CAMS, SONIS, and many others, Jimmy brings a deep understanding of the technological landscape in the field of financial aid. His familiarity with these systems enables him to navigate and leverage their functionalities to optimize processes and deliver efficient solutions.

In addition to his technical proficiency, Jimmy is well-versed in essential areas such as customer service, leadership, team dynamics, and influencing change. He recognizes the importance of providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients and students receive the support and guidance they need throughout their financial aid journey. Jimmy’s customer-centric approach drives him to go above and beyond to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Throughout his career, Jimmy has held various positions in the field of financial aid, including roles as a Student Finance Consultant, Assistant Director of Financial Aid, and ultimately as a Director of Financial Aid. As a Director, Jimmy assumed responsibility for strategically allocating institutional and federal aid to support student enrollment growth and ensure student success of matriculating students. Utilizing his deep understanding of financial aid compliance, Jimmy has been able to successfully close program reviews and reduced outstanding liabilities. With great expertise and knowledge of financial aid, Jimmy is a positive change-agent that impacts the institutions he works for.

Jimmy graduated Magna Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from LeTourneau University in 2006.
