Kate’s journey with College Aid Services began in 2019 as a Consultant, where she quickly showcased her exceptional skills and expertise, leading to her current position as a Client Engagement Specialist.

In this role, Kate plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless and effective operation of the solutions we provide to our clients, guaranteeing their satisfaction and success. Kate’s strong interpersonal and communication skills enable her to build strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Kate has worked with a diverse range of institutions, including public, private, 2-year, and 4-year colleges and universities since embarking in the industry in 1998. Throughout her tenure as a college aid administrator, Kate was renowned for her ability to foster positive and collaborative relationships with various departments, making her a trusted collaborator and sought-after participant in university committees.

Kate has been instrumental in creating and implementing impactful Financial Aid Awareness and FAFSA filing campaigns, leveraging her expertise in both financial aid processing and customer service. Kate is particularly knowledgeable in the areas of compliance, verification, student eligibility, and professional judgment.

As a skilled presenter, Kate has delivered engaging presentations to diverse audiences, including potential students and fellow financial aid professionals. She has been a moderator and presenter in the College Aid Services webinar series, sharing her insights and facilitating valuable discussions.

Furthermore, Kate has conducted training sessions for financial aid administrators on various topics such as Professional Judgment, R2T4, Verification, and Customer Service. Her expertise has also been recognized in teaching NASFAA credentialing sessions on Campus-Based Programs, R2T4, and Student Eligibility. Kate takes pleasure in sharing her knowledge with students and families, providing informative presentations on Financial Aid Eligibility and Financial Literacy.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Transylvania University.

Kate also holds NASFAA credentials in the areas of Administrative Capability, Campus-Based Programs, Need Analysis, Return of Title IV Funds, Student Eligibility, and Verification.
