Kenneth McGhee

Kenneth McGhee is an experienced enrollment management and financial aid leader with more than 30 years of experience in higher education administration and student access initiatives. Since beginning his career in financial aid in 1995, he has served in leadership roles ranging from assistant director to executive director for multi-campus colleges, universities, nonprofit organizations, and state education agencies.

Kenneth has extensive expertise in enrollment strategy, financial aid compliance, student retention, and operational leadership. He has overseen large-scale financial aid operations, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, led technology and process improvement initiatives, and advised institutional leaders on enrollment management and Title IV compliance matters.

A nationally recognized trainer, presenter, and author, Kenneth has delivered professional development programs for higher education administrators, high school counselors, and college access professionals at the state, regional, and national levels since 1998. His work has been featured through organizations including AACRAO, NACAC, NASFAA, and Inside Higher Ed.

Kenneth joined College Aid Services in 2026, where he supports colleges and universities through comprehensive financial aid and compliance assessments, helping institutions strengthen operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and student service delivery through our Comprehensive Assessment Program (CAP).

Kenneth earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a graduate degree from Northern Illinois University, and a post-master’s certificate in Enrollment Management through Noel Levitz and Capella University
