Senior Consultant
Dr. Kim Campbell joined College Aid Services in 2025.
She brings nearly two decades of managerial experience in higher education, specializing in student accounts across both public and private institutions. Her career spans roles at state agencies dedicated to making college more accessible and affordable, as well as leadership positions at a diverse range of institutions, including small private colleges, regional universities, and large state systems.
As a seasoned Student Accounts Senior Consultant, Dr. Campbell provides interim staffing support and project-based consulting for colleges and universities. Notably, she served as the Bursar at Clayton State University, where she led front-end compliance operations, overseeing accounts receivable, Title IV funds management, refund processing, due diligence, new student orientation, one-stop service implementation, and initiatives aimed at improving the student experience. Her previous bursar roles include appointments at Atlanta Technical College and Beulah Heights University.
Dr. Campbell remains well-versed in federal, state, and local regulations related to higher education finance, financial aid programs, tax compliance, and reporting. She is proficient with ERP systems such as Ellucian Banner, and has hands-on experience with a wide array of financial and federal aid platforms including TMS/Nelnet, BankMobile, Touchnet, Oracle PeopleSoft, G5/G6, NSLDS, COD, and Cashnet.
In addition to her administrative leadership, Dr. Campbell has spent over 12 years as an adjunct faculty member, teaching courses in business administration, business ethics, organizational leadership, principles of management, and organizational behavior. She is experienced in online education platforms, including Blackboard and McGraw-Hill Connect.
Throughout her career, Dr. Campbell has been an integral member of institutional leadership teams, contributing to quality assurance programs, strategic planning efforts, and accreditation processes through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). She is an active member of numerous professional associations, including the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), and regional bursar groups.
Dr. Campbell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the West Indies, and both a Master of Science and a Doctor of Business Administration from Walden University.
