Kristie Teasley

Kristie joined College Aid Services in 2023 as a Senior Consultant bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise in compliance and the intricacies of Ellucian Banner.

Kristie’s aim is to assist clients in optimizing the use of this platform, thereby enhancing the delivery of aid. She is well-versed in the technical and functional aspects of Ellucian Banner and is excited to share her innovative approaches and “funky-tech” expertise with the team and clients alike.

She gained financial aid experience by working for both public universities and technical colleges in Georgia. Her journey began as a Scholarship Coordinator in 2014, and through her dedication and hard work, she progressed to roles such as Loan Program Administrator, Financial Aid Coordinator, and eventually Director of Financial Aid at Kennesaw State University. Throughout her career, Kristie has not only honed her financial aid expertise but also developed a strong command of Banner.

Her technical acumen has empowered her not only to efficiently manage Banner but also to leverage SQL. By leveraging her technical expertise, Kristie has successfully developed quality assurance reports that contribute to effective aid management, ensuring that processes are streamlined, and aid delivery is optimized.

Kristie is actively involved in the local (GASFAA), regional (SASFAA) and national (NASFAA) associations. She has served as both a budget and financial committee member and executive board member for SASFAA. At GASFAA she has served as a professional development committee member, awards/nominations committee member, treasurer, and is currently president elect for 2023-2024.

Kristie received a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Covenant College in 2001. She received a Master of Science in Administration with a concentration in Leadership from Central Michigan University in 2010.

Kristie also holds NASFAA credentials in the areas of Cost of Attendance, Satisfactory Academic Progress, and Verification.
