Latrice Jones

Latrice joined College Aid Services in 2024 as an Associate Consultant, bringing a wealth of experience in financial aid and a distinguished military career with nearly 15 years of service to her country.

Latrice has developed invaluable expertise in financial aid through her work with public and private universities, as well as technical colleges throughout Georgia. Her career progression has been marked by continuous learning and a deep understanding of various financial aid components, including verification, state, federal, and private loan processing, reconciliation, Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), and the management of federal aid programs like Return to Title IV funds (R2T4) and the Federal Work-Study Program (FWS).

Starting her career as a financial aid assistant, Latrice has held progressively responsible roles, demonstrating her adaptability and commitment to the field. Her key roles have included Student Loan & Work Study Coordinator at Atlanta Metropolitan State College, Student Loan Coordinator at Southern Crescent Technical College, Assistant Director at Agnes Scott College, and most recently, Scholarship and Financial Aid Manager at Morehouse School of Medicine.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Latrice excels in interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. She is proficient in using various software systems, including Ellucian Banner, Colleague, and Slate.

Driven by her dedication to excellence and commitment to service, Latrice’s journey embodies resilience, adaptability, and an unwavering pursuit of professional growth. She continues to infuse her endeavors with energy, optimism, and diligent creativity, ensuring optimal outcomes for all stakeholders involved.

Latrice has earned NASFAA credentials in Application Process and Student Eligibility. 

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Strayer University and a Master of Business Administration from Argosy University.
