Nannette DiLauro joined College Aid Services in 2023 as a Senior Consultant bringing with her an impressive 31-year track record in the realm of financial aid within esteemed private institutions.

Nanette spent most of her career as the Director of Financial Aid for both Columbia University and Barnard College of Columbia University. Nanette’s journey commenced in 1992 when she joined Seton Hall University as the Manager of Enrollment Services. After a fruitful six-year stint, she transitioned to Columbia University as the Senior Associate Director of Financial Aid, where she rapidly ascended the ranks, eventually holding the esteemed position of Director of Financial Aid. In 2008 joined Barnard College of Columbia University as their Director of Financial Aid.

Throughout her tenure at these institutions, Nanette amassed a wealth of expertise in various critical areas, including institutional methodology, federal verification, FISAP, federal, state, and institutional reporting, and compliance-related matters. In addition to proficiency in Colleague, she boasts over 13 years of adeptly managing PowerFAIDS systems.

Nanette takes pride in providing excellent customer service while helping students navigate the complex financial aid process. Nanette also enjoys the gym, going to the movies, walks in the park and watching her beloved Yankees.

Nanette holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA.
