Tiffany Benson

Tiffany joined College Aid Services in 2021 to share compliance and functional and technical expertise (“funky-tech”) of Ellucian Banner in order to help our clients optimize their systems and manage the delivery of aid. Tiffany utilizes her knowledge of financial aid and higher education to support in financial aid processing, reconciliation, and reporting.

Since 2015, Tiffany has acquired invaluable financial aid experience working with both public and private universities as well as technical colleges throughout Georgia. Her progressive growth in the field has enabled her to develop a comprehensive understanding of various financial aid aspects, including application processing, student eligibility, federal verification, state aid, and the complete awarding process from origination to disbursement.

Before joining College Aid Services, Tiffany served as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid Operations at Morehouse College. In this role, she played a crucial part in designing and developing both the functional and technical aspects of Banner for the college. Prior to her time at Morehouse, Tiffany held multiple positions at Atlanta Metropolitan State College, including Financial Aid Assistant and Senior Financial Aid Officer.

Tiffany’s exceptional expertise as a “funky-tech” allows her to effectively support our clients with processing services while considering Banner functionality that aligns with compliance and promotes student success.

Tiffany holds a Bachelor in Criminal Justice from Atlanta Metropolitan State College (2015) and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Columbus State University (2020).

Tiffany has also earned various NASFAA credentials including Application Process, Cost of Attendance, Direct Loans, Student Eligibility, and Verification.
