Tracey Richards joined College Aid Services in 2024 as a Senior Consultant. With a career spanning since 2003, she is an accomplished professional in financial aid and enrollment management.

Tracey consistently drives strategic initiatives and compliance efforts to enhance student success and institutional effectiveness. She is a proficient functional and technical user of the Ellucian Banner and Ellucian Colleague systems.

Her career began at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown as a Financial Aid Specialist. Following her time in Pittsburgh, she joined Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) and progressively advanced through various positions, demonstrating her expertise in financial aid administration, compliance, and student support. At MCCC, she held roles including Financial Aid Enrollment Generalist, Assistant Director of Financial Aid, Associate Director of Financial Aid, Interim Executive Director of Enrollment Services, Interim Bursar, and Director of Financial Aid.

Currently, Tracey serves as the Executive Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships at Lehigh Carbon Community College. She has been instrumental in delivering high-quality financial aid services and developing strategic awarding initiatives to boost enrollment. She expertly maintains the financial aid module of the Ellucian Banner system and oversees the development of institutional software for financial aid processing and scholarship awarding.

Tracey has served in various roles within the Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrator (PASFAA) including various committee memberships, Leadership Development Training Committee Chair and currently serves as the Public 2-year Sector Representative. She has also presented at various conferences including state, regional and national conferences with PASFAA and The College Board.

Tracey is a NASFAA Certified Financial Aid Administrator (FAAC®) and has earned NASFAA credentials in Professional Judgement and Student Eligibility.

Tracey holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh (2000) and Master in Leadership Development from Pennsylvania State University (2009).
