Federal Student Aid has announced additions and organizational changes to the 2026–27 Federal Student Aid Handbook appendices. The update gives financial aid administrators, business officers, and staff working with prison education programs new reference locations to review.
The November update includes four changes:
- Accounting Systems moved from an appendix within Volume 4 to Appendix G.
- Pell Formula Summaries moved from an appendix within Volume 7 to Appendix H.
- A new Appendix I, Prison Education Program Guide, was added.
- The Partner Connect Glossary was updated.
