Update to FSA "Sender" Email Addresses

Federal Student Aid (FSA) is changing the email address they use to send critical information and important announcements. This fall, FSA will migrate outbound email communications from noreply@studentaid.gov to three new “sender” email addresses:

  • noreply@login.studentaid.gov
  • noreply@mail.studentaid.gov
  • noreply@info.studentaid.gov

These new email addresses are legitimate and authorized to send official communications about federal student aid. FSA is sharing this update so financial aid administrators can answer questions from students or parents and confirm the authenticity of these messages.

Starting in 2027, financial aid administrators, financial aid professionals, and other partners should expect to receive emails and other important communications from the following email addresses:

  • noreply@info.nsldsfap.ed.gov
  • noreply@mail.nsldsfap.ed.gov
  • noreply@info.fsapartners.ed.gov
  • noreply@mail.fsapartners.ed.gov

Please encourage students, parents, and institution’s staff to add these new email addresses to their contacts or safe-sender lists to ensure they continue to receive time-sensitive updates without interruption.

Resources to help identify official communications and protect against student loan scams are available on the Avoiding Student Aid Scams page.
